Stealth Operator Holsters Has A New Brand Ambassador
Julie Taylor is the Brand Ambassador for Phalanx Defense Systems’ Stealth Operator Holsters. Since
joining the Stealth Operator family, Julie has been involved in the social media efforts, customer
support, will-fit list development and account management of our holster products. She is considered the
company’s expert on firearms with a background in sporting goods retail and a passion for the gun
range.
Q: Can you tell us how you first got involved with Stealth Operator Holsters?
A: I first heard of Stealth Operator like you do all great products, through word-of-mouth. A friend at the
local Sheriff’s department showed his to me, and I have been using my Stealth Operator IWB holster for
the last 5 years. I’ve since purchased one, for every person in my family, including my daughter.
I live in Gainesville and had the opportunity to meet the team in 2018 for a video they were shooting to
showcase the holsters. Seeing how much of a fan I was, they brought me on and we’ve been working
together to spread the word on what I think is a truly awesome product.
Q: What makes Stealth Operator Holsters unique?
A: The Stealth Operator holsters are very versatile. They are comfortable for both men and women of all
different sizes, which is hard to find in one holster. Since they are made of a nylon polymer and not
Kydex, I feel like Stealth Operators have the kind of form fitting design that make them great for a casual
everyday carry when looking tactical isn’t always appropriate.
Q: What is the one thing you’d want Stealth Operator dealers to know?
A: I’ve already alluded to it, but Stealth Operator holsters are really comfortable. My holster feels more
a part of me than like an accessory. I want dealers to know that so they can advise customers
that are coming into the store to try on a variety of holsters. The dealer is going to need to be the expert
to let customers know what holster is going to work best for them over the course of the day’s activities,
because the answer won’t always be apparent during a few minutes of trying them out in the store.
Q: What kinds of things are you going to be working with dealers on this year?
A: I have a passion for merchandising. I think Stealth Operators could be the easiest add-on sale a dealer
could make, as long as it is presented to the customer properly. I’ve got some tips and tricks I’d like to
share on that and other marketing insights and tools. I am really looking forward to making a personal
connection with our growing dealer base.
